Anaesthesia

Anesthesia commonly called general anaesthesia often causes a great deal of anxiety for the animal owner. It is much more frequently necessary in veterinary medicine than in humans. An anaesthetic protocol tailored to the individual animal is internationally recognised to be the best standard because no single method of anesthesia and no drug is suitable for every animal. This is particularly true in elderly patients or animals with a special anesthetic risk benefit from individual care by a specialist. In these cases, we will take care of your pet during anesthesia together with the primary care team in your veterinary clinic.
